About Orano

Join our team to help meet current and future challenges to build the clean energy world of tomorrow. By joining the Orano Group, you will be a part of a leading international player in the nuclear industry. Our strengths? Across the entire fuel cycle, we have extensive expertise in cutting-edge technologies, safe, high value-added products and services, and a strong capacity for innovation.

Overview

This isn't just another Technical Project Manager role. You'll serve as the technical integrator and authority for the main Core Process Technology (ETC) equipment on Project IKE — one of the most advanced clean energy infrastructures in the country. As the project advances through detailed design, procurement, construction, and commissioning, you will drive technical decision-making, resolve engineering challenges, and ensure design integrity across disciplines — all while maintaining alignment between contracts, engineering intent, and field execution for a multi-billion-dollar facility that will power America's energy independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical execution of a defined scope (ETC), ensuring alignment across engineering, technology, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities
  • Serve as the primary technical interface between Orano, ETC, and key stakeholders, ensuring clarity of design intent and timely resolution of technical issues
  • Apply project and contract management principles to deliver scope safely, on schedule, and within budget, while ensuring compliance with nuclear safety, licensing, permitting, and quality requirements
  • Drive technical integration and interface management across systems, disciplines, and project phases
  •  Identify, analyze, and resolve complex engineering and design challenges, ensuring constructability, operability, and regulatory compliance
  • Ensure consistency and quality in engineering deliverables and construction execution across multiple sites
  • Track and report on schedule, cost, scope, and performance metrics, with a strong focus on technical progress and risk indicators
  • Lead technical risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies, and manage risks within Orano's corporate framework
  • Escalate technical and contractual issues as needed, providing clear and solution-oriented recommendations
  • Collaborate across internal divisions to maintain both technical integrity and budget performance within the assigned scope

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven leadership and ability to influence in a matrixed environment
  • Experience with EPC contracting, procurement, claims management, and negotiation
  • Budget management and costcontrol experience
  • Knowledge of construction management practices
  • Ability to identify and mitigate risks across major construction programs

Desired Skills

  • Program or operations experience with a focus on process improvement

  • High integrity, strong work ethic, and confident leadership presence
  • Ability to organize and drive outcomes in a matrixed structure

  • Experience with design/constructability reviews, SOWs, technical specs, and cost estimating
  • Ability to review CPM schedules for multidiscipline projects
  • Ability to build and maintain longterm client relationships
  • Security Clearance: Active QClearance preferred.
