Key Responsibilities 

  • Design deliverables (e.g. drawings, reports or calculations) to agreed standards of safety, cost, quality and time.
  • Contribute to the improvement of initiatives and projects.
  • Comply with all legislative, regulatory and company policy standards and processes applicable to the role.


Location: The successful candidate can be based at our Warrington or Abingdon office. 

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience 

  • Have a BEng (Hons) or MEng (Hons) in Chemical Engineering.
  • Have a minimum of 2 years relevant experience as a Process Engineer on a Nuclear site or a highly regulated site. 
  • Associate member or the IChemE working towards Chartership.
  • Experienced in supporting the production & development of process discipline documents and demonstrating the capability to work within a team.
  • Experienced in supporting process engineering coordination tasks as part of a team, demonstrating the capability to work within a team.


Skills & Abilities 

  • Ability to confidently liaise with external stakeholders and team members, both oral and written. 
  • Ability to independently seek our or develop ones own answer to challenging technical questions. 
  • Ability to organise ones own time to ensure internal/external deadlines are achieved and clients expectations are exceeded. 
  • Desire for self-development; to learn and develop within the role and develop others when required.


The successful candidate must, by the start of employment, have permission to work in the UK, and be willing to undergo a security vetting process. Offers of employment will be subject to relevant security clearance being granted. Travel to other Orano offices and client sites may be necessary. You should be willing to work flexibly to accommodate project and client requirements.
